Boy From Sangerville
A dark historical song about Hiram Maxim, born in Sangerville, Maine, in 1840, who went from a mechanically curious Maine farm boy to one of the most consequential inventors of his era. “Boy From Sangerville” follows his journey from the Maine woods to London and the development of the recoil operated Maxim gun, an invention that forever changed warfare.
