Rich in color and texture, Chocomania shawl uses the most basic of crochet stitches: single crochet (and its variations) and chain. The technique used in this pattern is simple, yet it requires your attention and following the directions carefully to prevent tangling of the yarn. To get a better idea of how the cables are worked you may try it out on a small swatch using the simpler cable instructions given on the last two pages.
