Is Bigger Actually Cheaper? | Smart Shopping Comparison Calculator

The bigger package is not automatically the better deal.

Is Bigger Actually Cheaper? is a simple shopping comparison spreadsheet designed to help you compare everyday purchase options on the same basis.

Enter up to four offers and automatically compare effective price, price per unit, estimated monthly cost, annual cost, and the difference between your options.

Use it to compare: package sizes, multipacks, member prices, coupons, sale prices, groceries, household supplies, toiletries, refills and other repeat purchases.

What you receive: one Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheet with a Start Here guide, automatic comparison calculator, and example scenarios.

Simply replace the yellow sample cells with your own prices and quantities. No spreadsheet experience required.

Important: Compare options using the same measurement basis. This tool compares the purchase information you enter and does not evaluate product quality, taxes, delivery costs, storage limitations, spoilage or membership fees unless you include those costs yourself.

Digital product. No physical item will be shipped.
