Learning Experience Design Workbook
Learning Experience Design
Turn your expertise into a clear, practical lesson.
You know your subject. This self-guided workbook helps you organize that knowledge into a lesson learners can follow, practice, and use.
Designed for artists, tradespeople, consultants, business owners, and professionals developing training, it supports both first-time teachers and experienced instructors planning something new. No education background is needed.
Use the workbook to:
- Identify your learners’ needs and connect to what they already know.
- Set a clear Learning Target and Success Criteria.
- Plan a demonstration that makes your steps and decisions visible.
- Create Guided Practice and Independent Practice with feedback.
- Include reflection, follow-up, and a small-group trial.
Completed examples show how the pieces fit together. Planning worksheets and generous writing spaces help you apply the process to your own subject.
What you’ll create: A lesson plan and draft learning materials for one 20–30 minute session within a workshop, course, or workplace training. For longer experiences, repeat the process for each skill and check the overall timing.
What’s included: A 21-page printable PDF with teaching-term definitions, worked examples, planning worksheets, learner-response pages, and trial prompts.
This is a digital download; no physical item will be shipped. The PDF is designed for printing and handwriting and is not a fillable form. Personal planning and repeated use for your own projects are permitted; resale and sharing the blank workbook are not. Individual review, revision, and design services are available separately.
