Death Becomes Her — Egg and Ankh Box - Digital Files

The screen-accurate Egg and Ankh Box from the 1992 film Death Becomes Her — modeled directly from the actual screen-used prop and refined through years of production work, including use in the Broadway production. Every part has been broken out individually for clean painting, color printing, and easy assembly. Every other version of this prop available online is a single-piece approximation. This is not that.

Twenty-five 3D print files yielding 74 printed parts (49 in grey resin, 24 in ruby red resin), plus laser cut files for 1 dark blue cardstock panel, 1 gold 1/8" acrylic panel, and 1 glitter baby blue cardstock panel. Laser files can be run on any hobby laser cutter or jobbed out to a cutting service. Resin is strongly recommended for best surface quality and detail; FDM with colored filament is possible but will sacrifice sharpness. Hooks are fragile and best produced via metal sintering. Orient all parts so supports fall on interior edges to preserve exterior finish. Full materials list and assembly instructions included.

Additional materials needed: 1/16" pin wire for hinges, small torsion springs (optional, for spring-open action), 6" black silk cord, clear UV resin, super glue, and double-stick tape (3M 469 recommended).
