The Begin Scarf was written just for that - the beginning knitter. It is a most basic of scarves: knit every row and you are done! After you have knit this scarf, you will be ready to knit it's matching hat!
Learning to knit is a rewarding and sometimes confusing task, and a knitting pattern can be full of what seems to be a secret code. In the Begin Scarf, useful techniques to look up on YouTube have been highlighted so that they are easy to search. I chose not to include specific links because there is a goldmine of helpful knitters on YouTube and exploring that goldmine and getting to know which videos are most helpful to each individual seems like part of the process of learning to knit.
