Summary of Performance Drafter AI Prompt: Exit SOP for Special Education, Ages 14 to 21

Senior year and 18 to 21 exits bring a pile of paperwork, and the Summary of Performance is one piece that has to be clear for the young adult, the family, and the next setting. I built this prompt to speed up my own drafts. You type in de identified exit notes, paste it into the AI tool your district allows, and get a first draft of academic achievement, functional performance, and recommendations toward postsecondary goals to check and edit.

What the prompt gives you back (8 labeled sections):

• A PII check, so the AI flags anything identifying before it writes

• An exit snapshot (reason and timing)

• An academic achievement summary

• A functional performance summary

• Recommendations toward postsecondary goals (education/training, employment, independent living as applicable)
