There are some revelations that change the way you pray. There are others that change the way you think. But every so often, God gives a revelation that changes the way you see everything. This book was born from one such revelation. For many years I have ministered to people who longed for healing, fruitfulness, restoration, financial breakthrough, reconciliation, direction, or hope. I noticed that although their situations were different, many of them shared one thing in common: they could only see what they lacked.

They saw empty wombs. Empty bank accounts. Broken relationships. Unanswered prayers. Medical reports. Years of delay. Closed doors. Their circumstances seemed to tell the whole story. Yet as I searched the Scriptures, I discovered something extraordinary. God rarely begins where we begin. We begin with need. God begins with provision. We begin with the problem. God begins with the answer. We begin with what is missing. God begins with what He has already given.

Repeatedly, the Bible reveals a God who prepares before He is asked, who provides before the need arises, and who finishes His work before we even recognise that we require it. That truth gave birth to the central picture of this book. A coin. When we hold a coin in our hand, we usually see only one side at a time. Yet we know there are always two. The fact that one side is hidden does not mean it does not exist. It simply means it has not yet been turned. So, it is with many of God’s promises. What appears to be lack is often only one side of a greater reality. Pressed against it is His provision. Hidden within it is His purpose. Waiting beyond it is His blessing. My prayer is that as you read these pages, the Holy Spirit will gently turn the coin before your eyes until you begin to see what God has been seeing all along. You may discover that your miracle has been closer than you ever imagined. And once you see it, you will never look at your circumstances in quite the same way again.
