Blackout: Escape Aunty's Smart House
Aunty Fatima is on her first ever cruise and has left the grandkids in charge of her house and her legendary freezer of samoosas. At 18:00 the power goes. At 18:01 someone raids the freezer. At 18:02 GOGO, the home AI Uncle Rashied built in the garage, bolts every door and launches the Intruder Protocol.
You have 60 minutes of battery to wake GOGO up, restart the generator and name the thief. Solve the first lock together, then split up across the Kitchen, Garage and Study, where three rooms of puzzles can be played in parallel. Cut out a cipher wheel, rebuild a shredded note, crack Aunty's recipe code and read Rashied's tool wall. Then bring every room's clue together to unmask the culprit.
Every answer is checked with folded Response Cards, and every wrong card tells you why you're wrong. Proper escape-room tension, with the humour of a South African family WhatsApp group.
