When I had an emergency surgery, I decided to knit myself a Linden Vest for fun during recovery. As I was picking out yarns, I started to think, hmmm, wouldn’t this be fun as a button-up version, as well? And, well, here we are! While I was at it, I opted to lengthen this version a smidge and lower the v-neckline which actually caused it to become more a sweetheart neck. Unintentional, but definitely loving it!

This vest is worked from the bottom up, in pieces. It is then seamed for added stability (especially with the alpaca fiber content), and the armholes and buttonband are picked up and worked after. There are options for three different buttonholes (with tutorials linked in pattern), and a couple helpful blog posts linked, as well.
