Anagram Hat & Wrap

The Anagram Hat is a cosy beanie with crisp texture, and its sibling the Anagram Wrap is a large dramatic rectangle with an all-over lace pattern. The stitch patterns combine modern geometric lace with garter stitch for texture and squish factor.

Skills & Techniques
Techniques include the long tail cast on, and lace knitting including the occasional double increase and decrease in the hat, and a stretchy bind off for the wrap

Materials Needed
For the hat: 135 yards / 125 metres of DK-weight yarn, or 1 skein of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (100% American Targhee Wool; 145 yards / 133 m, 50g)
For the wrap: 915 yards / 835 metres of DK-weight yarn, or 7 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (100% American Targhee Wool; 145 yards / 133 m, 50g)
US 6 / 4 mm needles (or needle size that gives you the right gauge)
A needle for weaving in the ends
Blocking pins and wires for the wrap (optional but recommended)

Finished Measurements
Hat: 18” / 46 cm circumference and 8” / 21 cm long
Wrap: 64” / 163cm long and 16” / 41cm wide.
