Birding in Kent, Restharrow Scrape
On Sale
£0.00
Restharrow Scrape is owned by Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust but is open to the public free of charge. It is situated on Sandwich Bay, approximately midway between the towns of Sandwich and Deal. With the sea only a few hundred metres to the east and its proximity to other reserves owned by the Bird Observatory as well as RSPB Lydden Valley (Worth Marshes) and Pegwell Bay nature reserve owned by Kent Wildlife Trust - see separate videos for these - all help contribute to the wide range of birds that can be seen at the Scrape. The species count over the years for this small area is phenomenal and some of those are shown in this video. This 23 minute video is made up of footage all of which was filmed at Restharrow Scrape through the seasons over the last 3 or 4 years.
