Portie
Portie is a native macOS app for monitoring and managing network activity on your machine.
See every open port at a glance. Portie scans your local network connections in real time, showing the port number, protocol, connection state, and the application behind each one. Refresh automatically every few seconds, or pause whenever you need a stable view.
Identify what is listening. View ports in a flat list or switch to a grouped layout that organizes connections by application. Click any process to open the inspector, which shows CPU usage, memory consumption, uptime, and every active connection for that process, including resolved hostnames for remote addresses.
Quit misbehaving processes. If an application is holding a port it should not be, you can terminate it directly from Portie without opening Activity Monitor. A graceful quit is tried first, with a force quit option available if the process does not respond.
Scan remote hosts. The built-in remote scanner lets you probe any hostname or IP address for open ports. Configure the port range, connection timeout, and concurrency to suit the task. Results show the service name and latency for each open port found.
Portie is a single one-time purchase with no subscription. It requires macOS 26 or later.
