As a mother of two teenage girls, I’m no stranger to mugs of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. I wanted something that would work up quickly and keep everyone cosy, so I reached for super chunky yarn. The result is a blanket that’s wonderfully warm, even if you find yourself making it in the middle of summer (as I did!)
