The Jubilee Made Simple

The Jubilee -- the fiftieth year: debts cancelled, slaves freed, land restored -- God's economics of grace and the liberty Christ proclaims (Leviticus 25:8-13; Luke 4:18-19).

The Jubilee Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through God's year of release: the trumpet on the Day of Atonement, the proclamation of liberty throughout all the land, seven sabbaths of years, cancelled debts, freed servants, restored land, Isaiah's greater Jubilee prophecy, Jesus' Nazareth sermon ("This day is this scripture fulfilled"), freedom from sin's debt and slavery, the rest that remains, living Jubilee now, and the eternal Jubilee when God makes all things new.

Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who ordained the Jubilee; Jesus Christ -- Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior, the One who proclaims liberty; and the Holy Spirit, who applies that liberty to hearts and homes, because deliverance comes by the Holy Spirit's power, never by willpower alone. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.

Read one chapter a day. Come honest. Read slowly. Pray openly.
