Seven Volumes on Faith, Spiritual Awakening, and the Path to Eternal Life
Who are we beyond the changing body and the thoughts we call our own? What gives human life its deepest meaning? How can faith become a path of awakening, and how should we live in the light of eternal life?
About the Series
Scriptures of True-Faith Buddhism: Modern Interpretation Series brings together seven volumes of Buddhist scripture in accessible contemporary English. Centered on faith in the one Holy Lord, the recognition of true spiritual life, and the pursuit of eternal life, the collection connects the understanding of scripture with meditation, moral discipline, compassion, and responsibility.
Faith and Spiritual Awakening
The series presents True-Faith Buddhism as a return to the original Holy Teaching transmitted by Śākyamuni Buddha. It invites readers to look beyond ritual performed for worldly rewards and to understand meditation as more than a method of relaxation. At its heart is a path of spiritual awakening grounded in sincere faith, single-minded prayer to the Holy Lord in meditation, and persevering practice. Eternal life is distinguished from the indefinite preservation of the physical body; the work of awakening begins within this present lifetime.
Scriptural Foundations and Interpretation
Prepared under the guidance of the spiritual revelation given by the Holy Messenger Lotus Moon Bodhisattva, the series draws on extant Sanskrit source texts, related Sanskrit materials, and ancient Chinese translations. Its interpretive approach combines textual comparison and clarification of meaning with attention to the structure of each scripture and the teachings shared across the collection. Spiritual revelation establishes the mission and direction of the work; it does not replace scripture. The guiding principle is fidelity to sacred meaning, expressed in language that contemporary readers can understand.
Seven Volumes, One Connected Journey
The seven volumes follow a purposeful progression: recognizing the world of eternal life, establishing clear-sighted faith, understanding the meaning of human existence, awakening true life, deepening meditation, serving humanity, and advancing toward holiness. Each volume illuminates a distinct part of this journey, while the collection brings faith, understanding, and practice into a connected whole.
From Understanding to Practice
For first-time readers and those committed to deeper scriptural study, this series offers an invitation to move from reading to understanding, and from understanding to practice. Its purpose is not merely to increase religious knowledge, but to encourage clear faith, honest self-examination, loving service, and a life directed toward eternal truth.
Understand the truth in this life. Walk the path to eternal life.
