What is in the Witches Brew
Bring a little spooky fun to your math block with this Halloween-themed graphing and data activity! Students will sort and count silly “ingredients” from a witch’s brew—like pumpkin teeth, ghost poop, and monster scabs—then record their results on a graph. After graphing, they’ll compare quantities with a partner, circling what they have more of and marking what they have the least of.
This hands-on resource is a great way to make math festive while building essential skills in sorting, counting, graphing, and comparing data.
