Olivia Hat

Olivia is a slouchy or beanie hat knitted seamlessly in the rounds from bottom up. Gorgeous stitch pattern featuring lace and cables makes it very eye-catching and unique.

SIZES
One size: to fit 55-57.5 cm / 22-23” head circumference.
Length (from CO to top): 22 cm / 8.75”.

YARN
For a hat you’ll need about 160 m of any DK weight yarn.
Sample was made with Amelia Włóczki Warmii ( 100% Wool-Merino; 210m / 230y per 100g ).
Shown in “Olive Grove” colorway.

NEEDLES
4.0 mm (US #6) circular needles or dpns, or size needed to get the right gauge;
3.0 mm (US #2.5) circular needles or dpns, or four sizes smaller than the gauge needles.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
1 stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

GAUGE
23 sts and 30 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in texture pattern with 4.0 mm (US #6) needles, after wet blocking.
One pattern repeat ( 24 sts ) is 10.5 cm / 4.25” wide.
28 sts and 36 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in 1x1 rib pattern with 3.0 mm (US #2.5) needles, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
