The Western honey bee (Apis mellifera) pin is part of the space themed Interstellar Invertebrates hard enamel pin set.

About pin quality and grading:

As enamel pins are handmade items, small imperfections can occur. I carefully inspect every single pin and sort them into different quality categories.

• Standard grade pins are the best quality pins I can offer and should show no major flaws. However, tiny surface blemishes or scratches in the metal plating as well as small, barely visible specks in the enamel colours can occur.

• B-grade pins have small imperfections. These commonly include scuffed or scratched metal plating, as well as small areas of underfilled or missing enamel.

• C-grade pins show more noticeable flaws such as larger areas of missing gold plating or missing enamel.
