The Light Inside Me

I bought the hard copy series of books for my children aged 7, 10, and 12 for Christmas.

We have enjoyed sitting together and reading them. Even my 1 year old enjoys the calm that ensues.

The Light Inside Me is a beautifully written and illustrated book which gently and naturally guides us on a journey to the light within ourselves. It has beautifully taught us ways to bring ourselves back to our centre, to our inner glow whenever we need to.

It is written in a way that flows beautifully and takes one on a journey to one's self.

A luminous and comforting story that helps children recognise their own natural brilliance.

It honours the childs inner world with great care. A gentle introduction to calm and embodiment.

Our pupils respond very well to the rising light imagery. It feels grounding and meaningful..

Pure soul nourishment. This story reminds children that they carry wisdom and light within them.

This book moved me deeply. My child now says my light is shining and it builds self worth in such a tender way.

The art work and design of this book is delightful. It’s got a very special message children will love hearing and reading about. I’m excited to give this book to my grandchildren.

The whole story made me smile and definitely awakened a feeling of hope, empowerment and a sensing that all is well. That somewhere inside were the answers to my challenges and the message was very clear.
The illustrations definitely stayed with me as they conveyed the feelings of the little boy so perfectly. I loved the opening words and definitely wanted to know more.

“When you feel the light inside, it helps you shine - this is your guide…” - was very powerful and definitely caused me to light up! Also “when you feel happy, calm and kind…” awakened an inner knowing.
I would definitely recommend this book - children of all ages and the elderly too due to its simplicity and innocence. It reminded me of “The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse” which was a favourite amongst adults too
