Where The Land Forgets Itself is more than one writers voice and experience of working class seaside living. Seaside towns have a legeacy as places of working class life, both in their resident communities and their holidaymakers. For many working class people, our memories are shaped around experiences of the coast and the sea.

In this collection of 12 working class writers, these memories are examined, and the beauty and trauma attached to the sea is played out amongst the unique psychogeographical landscape of the seaside.
