CVC Short Vowel Words Mapping Sheet

Use this free download to map cvc words. Use simple picture cards (cat, mat, bed, red, etc.) for phoneme-grapheme mapping. Have child/student say the name of the picture, tap out or place game chips on the orange spaces on the bus, segment the word and write the letter that represents each sound on the windows of the bus. Place the mapping activity in a sheet protector and use a dry erase marker to save on printing.
