Donation Pataxó tribe Brazil

I am collecting donations to support the Brazilian Pataxó tribe, who does not receive enough protection and support from the Brazilian government to maintain decent life standards. They are currently on a mission to build 15 new houses in their village Pequí, which is located close to Cumuruxatiba in the state of Bahia. They plan to use the new houses for their own community, and in order to receive ayahuasca tourists as a new pathway of income.

I am connected with this tribe since 2018, when I met some of their members on a spiritual festival selling their artwork. They spoke out an invitation, which I followed in 2019. I visited several villages, learned about their way of living and since maintained my friendship with them. 5 years later I reached out to them in order to ask for a picture for my book. My friend Daniel ("Lobo Livre" - "Free Wolf") stated that they are struggling in maintaining their lives and we were discussing the creation of organized original Ayahuasca experiences to drive monetary support towards their villages. Ayahuasca is becoming mainstream, but the indigenous people don't see much of the profit. They were the ones to originally share their wisdom about the secrets of this brew.
