The Canonbury Contract

A contract in Canonbury is supposed to be simple: do the job, take the money, and disappear.

Leon Carter and Rico Allen have spent years moving through Hackney together, taking small risks for small rewards. When an older criminal offers them a chance to step up, thirty thousand pounds looks like the way out.

But after a killing in the rain, the money changes nothing. The police begin asking questions. Vincent Rourke stops answering calls. And fear starts to turn two lifelong friends against each other.

The Canonbury Contract is a dark, fast-paced London crime story about loyalty, panic, and the price of one bad decision.
