The Phoenix of Hope FPP
I originally designed this in 2021 as part of the Festival of Quilts’ ‘Exhibition of Hope’. We all know what happened in 2020, and the phoenix rises from the ashes of what was there previously. It still feels very relevant now five years later. With a few revisions from the original (smaller) pattern I have released it for everyone to have their own Phoenix of Hope! The finished block measures approx. 15x15”. There are no instructions included on how to actually do FPP, but there are several keys and a colouring page included. It has a lot of pieces but is all still straight line sewing so if you’re organised you will be fine. Please reach out via Instagram, Etsy or email (GriffinAndTheBearStudio@gmail.com) if you require any additional help and please share your pics with me, I love to see! @GriffinAndTheBearStudio
Errata – when printed a couple of the seam allowances may be cut from the pattern pieces. This happens when letter sized paper is used as it is designed on A4 sized paper. It is only the seam allowance and does not affect the template itself!
Disclaimer - Some parts of the pattern (especially on the keys) may have overlapping letters and numbers that may be hard to read. This shouldn't affect the actual pattern pieces and is caused by the program I use and trying to keep the number of pages in the pattern to a minimum. Please get in touch if you need any help.
