Find My Way Cowl knitting pattern, any weight of yarn
Messing around with stitch patterns while knitting a swatch for a larger item, I found I had pretty much made a short loop cowl. Once I got started, I couldn’t stop myself, DK, Aran, Bulky and Super Bulky versions soon followed.
6,5mm for chunky/bulky yarn
5.5mm for Aran yarn
4mm for DK yarn
4mm for 4ply / fingering yarn
10mm for super bulky/chunky yarn
Suggested needle sizes for various weights of yarn are included but you should select a needle size that gives you the drape and finished fabric that you want, not what the ball band says.
This pattern can be adapted in both length and width to suit your yarn or your style.

About the pattern
The cowl is knitted sideways, starting with a provisional cast on or longtail cast on, then joined later either by Kitchener Stitch graft or a Three Needle Bind off/Cast off.
You should be able to stash bust (or treat yourself if you prefer) and knock up some great gifts either for yourself or someone knitworthy.
The cowl pattern has options for a short loop and long loop versions and the ebook includes suggested stitch counts for a variety of weights of yarns from 4ply/fingering up to super bulky
