Varying the size of the logs creates the illusion of curves. Flip the blocks around and a heart appears. Flip some more, the heart is gone, but now you have another look. Use scraps from your stash, or buy 3-4 new fabrics of a light background, and 3-4 darks. It is very important that you use a quarter inch seam allowance so that the logs fit together. Add a few borders on the ends if you’d like it a little longer.
Approximate sizes: 30” x 20”, 54” x 20”
