"Be Still." Notice Creation. Know the Creator. A Year of Nature Journaling for Children
Be Still
Notice Creation. Know the Creator.
A year-long nature journal for children designed to help your family slow down, get outside, pay attention, and discover God in the world He has made.
It has always been my desire to teach my children to know God through His creation. Our family has always loved being outside, and one of my greatest joys has been watching wonder grow in my children as we slow down, pay attention, and delight in the world God has made.
As I’ve cultivated wonder and stillness in myself and modeled it for them, my five-year-old will now pause on a hike and say things like,
“Wait, Mommy! Listen! I hear God’s music!”
That is what I hope this journal helps cultivate in your children, too.
As they learn to pay attention to creation, they can begin to recognize the character of the Creator woven throughout it.
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made...”Romans 1:20
