An original appliqué block inspired by the kinnor and traditional Hawaiian quilting patterns. The kinnor, also known as the Harp of David, was an ancient Israelite lyre with 3-12 strings. These are surrounded by a border of flowers and palm leaves. For a simpler, smaller block, work only the center harp design without the outer border and quilt in echo lines. Adjust fabric sizes accordingly.
The pattern includes full-size eighth-fold templates for 14" and 18" blocks. Print actual size and cut on a folded square of fabric. Cutting and assembly instructions are included, but finishing instructions are not. The finished block may be used as part of a quilt, pillow, wall hanging, or any other project.

Batting: 21"x 21" (approx)
