I would like to share one of my poems- Illusion and Reality with you: a reflective and visual exploration of the tension between how we perceive ourselves and the truths we often avoid. This piece examines the quiet conflict between appearance and essence, illusion and honesty, comfort and truth.

Through imagery and poetic language, the work challenges the way society normalizes false identities—how success, power, and validation often become illusions we willingly accept. The contrast between shadow and self, freedom and captivity, strength and pretense highlights how easily illusion can feel safer than reality, even when it costs us authenticity.

This piece was created to encourage self-reflection. It asks viewers to question not only the world around them, but also their own participation in illusion—where they may be pretending, conforming, or denying truth for the sake of comfort or approval. At its core, Illusion and Reality argues that while reality can be bitter, it is also freeing. Truth strips away false idols and reveals who we genuinely are.

Ultimately, this work invites the audience to pause, confront discomfort, and choose awareness over deception. Illusion and reality coexist—but it is our responsibility to decide which one we live by.
