Inventory Tracker Spreadsheet: Low Stock Alerts, Reorder Points & Stock Valuation, Excel & Google Sheets
A ready-to-use inventory tracker for small product businesses, built as a single Excel workbook (.xlsx) that also opens in Google Sheets. Log deliveries and sales, and it works out what you have on hand, what it is worth, what is running low, and what to order next. All formulas are live and there are no macros, so nothing is blocked by security warnings.
What is inside: Start Here (setup steps and plain-English math), Inventory Master (SKU, category, supplier, unit cost, sale price, on-hand calculated as received minus sold plus adjustments, reorder point, reorder quantity, lead time, OK / REORDER / OUT status with color, stock value, margin %), Receiving Log, Sales-Usage Log with SKU dropdowns, Suppliers, an automatic Reorder Report with suggested order quantities, and a Dashboard with charts.
Supply chain math is built in: days of cover, annualized inventory turns, a suggested reorder point from your real usage plus supplier lead time and safety days, a check that flags reorder points set too low or too high, dead stock value, and a supplier roll-up that checks each PO against the supplier's minimum order.
Comes with 25 sample SKUs, fictional suppliers and a few months of sample activity so you can see every formula working, then clear the yellow input cells and enter your own. Capacity is 200 SKUs, 1,000 receiving rows, 1,000 sales/usage rows and 50 suppliers.
Please note: this is a manual-entry tracker, so it is only as accurate as the receipts and sales you log. Stock is valued at the current unit cost you enter (not FIFO or weighted average). It has no barcode scanning, multi-location, lot tracking or accounting integration, and the Reorder Report does not net out open purchase orders. Google Sheets support relies on standard functions; charts may look slightly different after import.
Your download: one .xlsx file plus a README and license. Personal and business use for your own company; no resale or redistribution of the file.
