Dream Lake Cowl Pattern

Dream Lake is located in Rocky Mountain National Park in the state of Colorado. The peaceful beauty of a snowy day at the lake inspired this cowl, a soft comfortable warm luxury for cold days.

This cowl incorporates fun textures, some simple lace and even a little brioche to create this beautiful alpine scene. Some familiarity with brioche and brioche decreases is recommended!

A note about cowl construction:
The brioche trees are embedded within a framework of basic stockinette stitches. An optional third needle such as a dpn may be useful for working the trees.

Finished Size
24in/61cm circumference, 19in/46cm height

Gauge 
24 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette in the round
If you are using mini-skeins to work this pattern, gauge is very important! Otherwise no worries should apply.
