The 2010s are the decade the offensive ratings ran out of room. Green Bay, Denver, New England twice, Atlanta, Kansas City and Baltimore all hit the maximum. The counterweight is Seattle, best defense in the league in 2012 and again in 2014, and the reason it never became a track meet. New England are at or near the top in seven of the ten. Ten seasons, all playable.

2013 - Denver's record offense meets Seattle's defense. 43-8. Super Bowl XLVIII.

2014 - The goal-line interception. New England's fourth. Super Bowl XLIX.

2015 - Carolina go 15-1. Denver's defense stops them anyway. Super Bowl 50.

2016 - 28-3. Super Bowl LI.

2017 - Philadelphia and the Philly Special. Super Bowl LII.

2018 - New England's sixth, and the lowest-scoring one ever. Super Bowl LIII.

2019 - Kansas City end a fifty-year wait. Super Bowl LIV.
