Aestas (Latin for “summer) is a beaded lace wrap, with a garter stitch border decorated with picots. Beaded decreases accentuate the geometric pattern.  The pattern is perfect for thinner thick and thin handspun yarns with subtle tonal variations, but you can use any fingering or sport weight yarn.  Aestas is worked from the bottom up using a picot cast on.  The wrap has a garter stitch border decorated with picot stitches. Aestas is finished with a garter stitch border and a picot cast off.
