This easy-to-follow Foto2Fuse guide walks you through my process for sublimating a photo onto a 5x7 sublimation-ready glass photo frame, including photo preparation, printing, positioning, pressing, cooling and finishing.

You'll learn the important details that can make the difference between a disappointing transfer and a beautiful finished keepsake—including why this particular glass frame is NOT mirrored, my tested time-and-temperature starting method and how I visually check the transfer and safely add time when needed.

Inside the guide you'll find step-by-step instructions, materials and preparation tips, troubleshooting help, a production checklist, and a convenient quick-reference recipe card.

IMPORTANT PRESSING NOTE

Because heat presses can vary, your glass may occasionally need a little additional pressing time. After the initial press, you may carefully lift the heat press and gently move the butcher paper just enough to visually check the transfer. If the image still appears dull or has not fully transferred, carefully reposition the butcher paper, close the press, and add 10 seconds at a time, checking again after each interval until the transfer is complete.

Only do this if you’re certain you’ve taped and secured your printed images and your heat press is at the recommended pressure.
