English Phonics for Nursery Three looks at consonant clusters (blending), diphthongs and how they sound, and syllables, and how they are broken into smaller units for easy pronunciation. We also illustrate each topic with several examples, construct simple sentences and break down single and double syllables to help learners practice effectively. Once again, teachers/facilitators are advised to make their lessons practical to help pupils learn at ease.
Like in books one and two, we have provided practical materials including videos on sounds. After each chapter, teachers should guide the pupils to do the assignments, and give them the home works to practice at home.
