Dropping off June

While the book is titled, ‘Dropping off June’, the book details experiences from both male and female riders. The title hit me when I dropped of a passenger named ‘June’ and I thought it sounded like the perfect title for a book I knew I wanted to write somewhere down the line about my experience as a rideshare driver.

The following tales are from interactions and experiences with actual riders I encountered during my nearly three-year tenure. The book is mainly taken from notes, of sorts, that I emailed myself about riders who had interesting things to say, or did things that were interesting, or abnormal to me. Nothing too crazy like you see these days on TikTok or Instagram. One might even say my experiences are quite mild in comparison. Yet, some of my riders still needed...
