You can use a ⅔ yd panel with three equal size pictures, or a larger scale print. Make Flying Geese and scatter them around the “pictures”, having them fly this way and that. The cover quilt has 32 Flying Geese, but you can make more, or less. Make them all out of the same fabric or make them with three, four, five or however many fabrics you’d like to use. I use Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design® Wing Clipper to make the Flying Geese, but the no-waste method is included in the instructions.
Approximate sizes: 37” x 50”, 42” x 55”, 50” x 63”
Skill level: confident beginner.
