Hand and Ring

The town’s legal professionals chat outside the courthouse down the street. They discuss how a criminal could murder someone and leave no trace behind. Then moments later are called to Widow Clemmens house only to discover what they spoke about on the courthouse steps has now happened. A strange and startling coincidence to find she had been struck on the head from behind and is lying covered with blood at the foot of her dining room table.
