Suggested activities in order of difficulty:

• Order the numbered fairy lights from smallest to biggest.
• Ask your child to cover their eyes while you remove a number. Can they identify which number is missing?
• Order the numbers from biggest to smallest.
• Count in 2s or 5s!

To add a bit of festive fun, hang real fairy lights between two chairs. Use pegs to attach the numbered fairy lights to the string (meaning that fine motor skills are being developed too!)
