Trace Press — Interactive Background for Framer

Trace Press turns pointer movement into a tactile graphite rubbing. Brand language sits blind-embossed in paper, plaster, terracotta, or slate, then appears only where a visitor moves across the surface. The trace remembers the gesture briefly and settles back into the material without an idle animation.

WHY IT IS USEFUL

• Replace decorative particles and cursor glows with words that carry actual brand meaning: services, locations, values, products, campaigns, or stories.

• Place headings, buttons, links, forms, and product imagery above the effect; Trace Press remains decorative and does not block foreground interaction.

• Use Archive Paper, Plaster, Terracotta, Slate + Chalk, or a fully custom palette.

• Tune words, typography, rows, angle, press depth, rubbing size, pressure, graphite density, stroke grain, memory, material grain, touch behavior, and radius.

• Keep touch rubbing off for ordinary page scrolling, or enable it for a deliberate hands-on installation.

BUILT FOR REAL FRAMER PAGES

The component sizes itself to its Framer instance rather than the browser viewport. It includes a useful static Canvas and thumbnail state, respects reduced-motion preferences, pauses when hidden or outside the viewport, and uses no external runtime package or separate hosting.

DELIVERY

After purchase, download one ZIP and open START-HERE.md. Paste the supplied Framer Component URL into the destination project, then insert Trace Press from Assets. Source code is not included.

LICENSE

The standard purchase includes a Single-Use Commercial License for one personal, commercial, or client end product. Redistribution, resale, marketplace use, and multi-project use are not included.

Support is available at hello@usesolvekit.com. Compatibility and defect fixes for version 1.x are included when released; no fixed update schedule or future major version is promised. Digital purchases are normally non-refundable after access. If the component is defective or materially different from this listing, contact support so the issue can be resolved. Non-waivable statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
