Golden Brown mitts are quick and fun to knit, and adorable to wear. A perfect and stylish way to keep your hands toasty while keeping your fingers free to move.

These mitts are worked in the round, starting from the border in twisted rib. The hand is decorated with a delicious cable and has a thumb gusset for comfort. The mitts are finished with the same twisted rib of the wrists.

Finished size: One size fits most adult hands.

Note: Size is easily customizable, using different yarn weight and/or needle size.

Yarn:

MC: Rowan Kidsilk haze (70% Mohair, 30% Silk 230 yards 210 meters/25 grams) col 00641, approx. 190 metres.

CC: Silk Knitting Yarn Silk Lace (100% Mulberry silk; 500 yards 457 meters/50 g), col. 22, approx. 190 metres.

Note on yarn substitution: Choose one laceweight mohair and one “plain” laceweight yarn in two contrasting (and possibly solid or tonal) colors colors. In my opinion, this design works at its best if MC is darker than CC.
