The fourth suit in the Tarot tradition is focused on Actuality—the concrete, tangible reality of our physical lives. However, the interpretation of this material world has undergone a profound evolution. In the earliest decks, this suit was known as Coins (or Denari), a straightforward symbol for literal wealth, currency, and commerce.

This module maps the journey from that initial, simple focus on money (transactions) to the more complex, spiritual significance of the Pentacle. We trace how the meaning of the suit expanded from mere Literal Materialism (the surface-level exchange of goods) to the integrated and powerful worldview we call Idealistic Materialism.
