This Easter Bunny Egg Hunt Art Project guides students step by step through drawing a cheerful bunny holding colorful Easter eggs while sitting in spring grass. Students sketch the bunny's ears, face, body and arms, add decorated Easter eggs and grass, outline in black marker and color with crayons.

They finish with a light blue watercolor wash in the background, so the crayon resists the paint for a bright layered effect. The project builds drawing confidence while reinforcing line, pattern, shape, color and texture, and suits classroom teachers, art teachers, homeschool families and substitute teachers.
