Frida Kahlo captured the strength of femininity with her entire being. She wore roses full and proud, colour vibrant and unapologetic. She did what she wanted and wore it with dignity and passion. Inspired by Frida Kahlo, may this top let you express your inner Frida.

For Frida is a tunic style pullover with neck ties, worked from the bottom up.
It has a flared bottom edge and slight bell of the 3/4 length sleeves.
The rose motif is worked over the bottom edges of the body and sleeves.
The neckline is a V with i-cord tie closure.
The v-neck opening over the yoke is worked using a steek, it may be worked flat, if preferred.

1.5” positive ease recommended.

Gauge: 26 sts and 32 rows = 4” 10 cm in St st after wet blocking
Yarn: Anzula Squishy (80% Merino, 10% Cashmere Goat, 10% Nylon; 385 yards 352 meters/114 grams): Seaside (MC, 2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) balls)
Anzula Squishy Skeinettes (80% Merino, 10% Cashmere Goat, 10% Nylon; 84 yards 77 meters/25 grams): Wine (CC1, 1 ball), Mulberry (CC2, 1 ball), Madam (CC3, 1 ball), Pesto (CC4, 1 ball), Butter (CC5, 1 ball), Lapis (CC6, 1 ball)
Needles: US size 3 (3.25 mm) 36” circular, US size 2 (2.75 mm) 6” DPNs (for i-cord)
Notions: Markers (2), stitch holders (2), tapestry needle, beads (2) and accent beads (2) to fit i-cord, sewing machine to prepare steek edges
