It's been 30 years since the "Eden Project" Failed to Unify the Galaxies. We now find ourselves in a Modern-day Galactic War of epic proportions.

Everyone assumed the Legacy infection was the worst anyone could face, but then came the Cindarians and Aquations.

As they woke from their Millennia slumber (Hibernation) and cast off their "fairy-tale persona" in everyone's remembrance, they strode out onto the Galactic Battlefield with fury and vengeance the likes many have never seen in this day and age, nevertheless, even as most observed with naive hopefulness. The Cindarians and Aquations decimated much of the Infected. They pushed back many of the Zirax territories while confronting the Tesch and Legacy, creating a vast kilter in the Goals of all involved in this war before their awakening. Apparently, the Cindarians and Aquations have a natural immunity to the Legacy's hideous virus, which up until this point meant enslavement for anyone who caught it, giving them the upper hand in an otherwise unfair playing field.

Scientists are still struggling to find an antigen for Legacy's ill-gotten plaque. Then, we see a mythological race such as the Cindarians and Aquations rise, seemingly out of nowhere, like locusts deep within Planetary Crusts. They swarmed and rose into space with the Majesty of the Ancients. Many thought of them as Saviors at first.

Soon, though, we all came to the stark realization that these were not benevolent beings but perhaps a far worse fate than even the Legacy had in store for us all.

The Cindarians and Aquations are ruthless in their pursuit of peace. They deem anyone susceptible to the virus to be of a lesser species. They have indeed shown a quick dislike for anything Artificial, recycling everything in their path back into its base components or raw materials.

A new protagonist has hit the battlefield, adding another layer to the Onion: the Andromeda System and its neighbors.

It's also notable that Polaris has become more dominant over the Tesch, deeming Colar and Enslaving the Mechanical Intelligence for their own purposes. This has fueled an ongoing war between the two races while the pirates continue taking advantage of the mayhem from a divided galaxy. Colonists and Traders continue to populate the Galaxy while fending off multiple protagonists, while others try to form allegiances to strengthen their goals. Wastelanders have established themselves as a powerful Mercenary Group performing the most challenging jobs for lucrative pay.

The Entire Galaxy is a hive of activity focused on their own Survival in the Grand scheme of things.

So now, amid a Galactic struggle, many are doing what they know best to survive the tumultuous events that lay before them. In the grander scheme of things, your present circumstances are much more detrimental to your current existence.
