She Glows Africa - Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa
There was need to confront the stigmatization in Africa that comes in several colors
which are in religious, legal and social context. Single mothers deserve a strong support
system that helps them in carrying out their double duty. Religion believes marriage is the
only legitimate framework for one to have children and by this reason only, stigma is
created. On the legal side of view, women are not properly or fairly represented. You see
single mothers struggling to find help from maintainance courts. The processes are not
favorable even for the children. Many end give up without any form of help afforded
them thus we advocate for a fair representation of women in high offices.
Our vision is to help single mothers in all spectrum to see and know that they can and
they will through the articles and people featured in it. If not for single mothers by single
mothers then who can?? We are committed to bringing you educating, awareness and
well researched articles. We promote health and environment, entrepreneurship, peace
initiatives, arts, culture, sports, social, economic and political empowerment of women.
We have made it our mission to inspire and educate single mums and all marginalised
women through the articles in the magazine so that they can be well rounded citizens and
women to be recogned with in all their spheres of influence. We also aim to celebrate all
established women across Africa who have made it in the throat-cutting business
world.Their life stories are a hope to the many others who are still trying to get there.
Our aim is to fight STIGMA AGAINST MARGINALIZED WOMEN, GENDER BASED
VIOLENCE, WOMEN'S RIGHTS ABUSE!
Our motto: A society of empowered African women!
