Rob Brett looked at some of the issues facing horticulturists and how RHS Garden Hyde Hall has approached some of these challenges. His key message focused on using public and botanic gardens to spread the word to the 30+ million gardeners across Britain and Ireland about climate change and what practical steps they can take to improve the resilience of their gardens.
