The Queen Bee Ambient Sound Design Studio is a completely robust, "NO-AI", user-friendly creative-digital-tool for creating custom ambient soundscapes which are completely royalty-free. The idea to develop this app series emerged after being frustrated by the need to keep setting up and breaking down my studio setup. I knew if I was experiencing these frustrations, there were others who were too. I wondered if I could design an app that would fit my needs for creating original, custom, ambient sound compositions with ease and creative flexibility. So I gave it a whirl. 

What Is Queen Bee?

Queen Bee does not use any AI in its functionality or processes! 

Queen Bee is a generative ambient synthesizer and real-time sound composition tool. It creates continuously evolving, layered soundscapes from over 127 handcrafted voices. No musical training required. Every session is unique. The combinatorial space exceeds the number of atoms in the observable universe.

Available as a standalone desktop application for Mac and PC. No internet connection required after installation. No account, NO-AI, no subscriptions.

Queen Bee has layers. Literally and metaphorically. On the surface, QB gives the user the ability to create complex textured soundscapes by simply choosing one of the built-in presets and letting the generative sound engine work its magic. If that’s the time you have to invest in creating, so be it. 

But if you want to dive into QB’s expansive capabilities, you will find its deeply customizable and improvisational tools for creating complex ambient soundscapes, real-time interactive live sound compositions and performances, and sound design scores. You can record these in real time as you create them and afterwards, export them as high-quality WAV files.

From serene ambient flows to chaotic complex sound experiments, Queen Bee’s dynamic and flexible ethos adapts to your creative sensibilities and vision. 

It bears repeating that the Queen Bee, BuzzBaby, and Sound Shaper apps do not use any AI in their functionality or processes. They are stand-alone desktop Apps that use your computer’s CPU to run. There’s no AI making the decisions for you. You are in creative control. No subscriptions or connecting to the internet are needed. 

It’s like the old days, when you could just purchase creative software, download it, and own it forever.
