Get organized in one evening. Walk into your child's IEP meeting prepared and calm.

The Steady Advocate IEP Planner is a short, practical binder made for PARENTS (not teachers). Instead of a 300-page pack, you get 27 pages that each do a job: keep your papers and dates in order, write notes the school team can actually use, check that goals are measurable, and bring a focused Meeting-Day Pack to the table.

★ WHY PARENTS CHOOSE IT

• Fillable PDF: type on your computer, iPad or Android with free Adobe Acrobat Reader - or print and write by hand

• Start Here page: a simple 3-step path (one evening to set up, 5 minutes a week, 2-3 weeks before each meeting)

• Meeting-Day Pack: the 6 pages to print and bring, also included as a separate file

• Behavior notes made simple: an A-B-C guide, a behavior log and a weekly pattern grid, designed by a Certified ABA Therapist (Italy)

• "Is this goal measurable?" check, so you can ask the right questions before you agree to a goal

• A complete FILLED EXAMPLE for a fictional child, so you never stare at a blank page

• US Letter size, calm adult design, prints clearly in black and white, with a binder-friendly margin

• No pre-filled accommodations: you write what applies to YOUR child

★ FAQ

Q: Is this for parents or teachers?

A: For parents and caregivers. Teachers and advocates who want to give copies to families can message me about a professional license.

Q: Does it work for a 504 plan?

A: It is built around the IEP. Many pages (contacts, documents, communication, accommodations, meeting pack) also work for a 504 plan, but there is no 504-specific section.

Q: My child doesn't have an IEP yet. Is it useful?

A: Yes - the communication log, behavior notes and the "Ask for an evaluation" message example help you document concerns from the start.

Q: Can I use it on my iPad, Kindle Scribe or reMarkable?

A: On iPad and Android, yes, with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app. It is a standard PDF, not a GoodNotes planner with hyperlinks. On Kindle Scribe, reMarkable and similar e-readers you can write on the PRINT file by hand, but the type-in boxes won't work there.

Q: Will it fit in a 3-ring binder?

A: Yes. Every page has a 0.75-inch margin, so hole-punching doesn't cut into the content.

Q: Do I need Canva or Word?

A: No. Everything works in a free PDF reader, and the layout can't break when you type.

Q: Can I edit the page titles or design?

A: No, only the fields. This keeps the layout clean when printed.

Q: How many children can I use it for?

A: Save one copy of the file per child. You can print as many pages as you need for your own family.

Q: I can't download the files / something doesn't work.

A: Send me a message on Etsy - I reply within 48 hours (I'm based in Europe, so replies may come overnight US time).

Thank you for supporting a small shop. I hope this planner makes the next meeting a little lighter.
